Electrical Testing & Inspection
Our electricians carry out electrical inspections and testing, whether it be just a visual inspection of your electrical installation or the full EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) which reports to the client on the condition of the electrical installation and detailing whether it meets the current 17th Edition regulations and if not what works are required to conform to this.
Our Electricians who carry out the testing are qualified to the 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations and CITY & GUILDS Inspection & Testing Certification of Electrical Installations. What is PAT testing?
Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) is the electrical safety testing of portable electrical equipment. It consists of a visual inspection and a combination of electrical tests carried out by our electricians using electrical safety testing equipment.
Appliances that have passed a PAT test are deemed to be safe to use until the next test date. The next test date in most circumstances will be 12 months from the date of a passed test however this can change in certain circumstances and for Landlords items should be tested prior to a new tenant even if this is less than 12 months from the previous test date.
All customers that we provide PAT testing services for have their equipment entered into our database, a copy of which can be supplied electronically for import to their asset database, and for smaller clients the PAT testing database is often used as their primary asset database.
If you have any questions about our PAT testing service or would like a quotation, then please do give Leisa a call on 0800 228 9574 or email firstname.lastname@example.org who will be happy to provide a PAT testing quotation for you.
